The Instinctive Birth Method is a five-element framework for women preparing for a physiological birth. It was created by Evony Lynch from over two decades as an NHS midwife, watching what actually changes things for women. Not more information. Not a longer birth plan. But an unshakeable trust in their own body - and the confidence to act on it even when the journey takes an unexpected path.

The method is evidence-informed and deeply physiological. It takes seriously both the extraordinary capacity of the birthing body and the reality of navigating a maternity system that does not always support it.

The maternity system is moving further from physiological birth, not closer.
